Bringing world class luxury to Wright

Every once in a while a truly remarkable home design comes on the market.  A home that is truly unique and offers unrivaled architectural design.

The Curzon is one such home.  As can be seen below, it isn’t your average home.

The motivation was the easy part for Mayfair Homes.  It was to make their name in the luxury home niche.

They knew that this could only be achieved through quality design and un-equalled architecture.

The home was designed by Steve Kolak who is the Director of Mayfair Homes.  The three year completion process shows just how much thought and care went into the home.

Exuding luxury, while creating a functional and desirable placed to live were the key goals.  The home delivers these perfectly, and the quality of the workmanship creates a home that people want to live in.

As can be imagined, there are many design features that stand the home out from others in its class.

The one that really stands out is the butler’s pantry.  This exudes opulence and provides extra bench space, as well as hiding large kitchen equipment, when entertaining guests.  Corner doors and corner glass, which is floor to ceiling, are both used to maximize views and to create the feeling of space.

In addition, extra features such as private veranda off the master bedroom, a luxury ensuite, an office, a parent’s retreat and a modern yet classic alfresco area which is complimented by a fireplace are all included.  The fireplace adds to the practicality of the home and ensures all areas of the home can be used all year round.

Finally, electronically operated cupboards, while a small detail, show the care and workmanship that have been put into the home, and also its functionality and livability.

One thing that stands out in the home, is the diverse range of materials that were used during construction.  Each material was individually chosen, and expertly incorporated to compliment other materials.  The end result is a stunning and impressive home both inside and out.

Key materials include Alucobond aluminium panels, colorbond steel, Western Red cedar and high quality Italian tiles.  Inside the home, designer wallpaper, which includes both different patterns and textures, creates unique and comfortable living zones.

As can be imagined, with a home of this calibre, the environment features heavily.  In fact, the home was designed with both the local environment, and planet environmental features in mind.

The most prominent feature are solar panels, which contain enough power to return electricity to the local grid.  Inside, there is slab heating in the tilled areas and of course double glazed windows.  The home is also fully insulated in the walls and roof, and includes numerous skylights to bring in natural light.

As a home, “The Curzon” really does stand out from the crowd.  From the outside it is impressive.  High quality materials and architectural features showcase the front door and invite both guests and residents into the home.

However, it is on the inside where the home really stands out.  Walking through the doors, the soft greys, browns and even silvers from the high class appliances, create a flow in the home.  This is further supported by the use of designer wall paper.  Complimenting this is the practicality.  Features aren’t just included for no reason.  All parts of the home are designed to help make living easier.

In such a tightly competed market, it is rare to see a home such as this, which clearly stands out from the crowd.
